The worship of Lord Ganesh is the core of Hinduism.
His statue or image is seen inside the threshold of every temple. No matter to which Deity a Hindu intends to pray, s/he will begin by invoking Him.
He is the basis of each individual’s personal religion, too.
As Lord of the muladhara, or root chakra, He will ground you firmly in this incarnation as you strive upward towards the crown, or Pure Consciousness and He will assist you to reach that goal.
Along the way, He will remove all obstacles to good health, prosperity, peace of mind and harmonious social relationships.
Aside from His Fondness for luscious sweets,
His Love and Care of His worshippers is total.
