"Chaos" was the word that first came to the mind of Tina Bielenberg, my friend who loves the Norse Mythology when I asked her to talk to me about Loki moments after the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve.   Chaos.  That which existed before anything existed...the dark pool of unmade worlds, unmade man, unknown paths.  The Trickster at the start--  at once creator and destroyer, giver and negator, he who dupes and is always duped himself...he knows neither good nor evil yet he is responsible for both.  He possesses no values, neither moral nor social, yet through his actions, all values come into being.  Creative Chaos.
